I know a lot of you are upset about the Maggette signing but just wait a minute...
First of all, Corey Maggette is an absolute scoring machine who shoots good percentages and gets to the line at all. $10 million a year isn't that bad and IMO fills a need on the team - someone over 6'3'' that can actually drive the ball to the hoop. He'll form a good rotation with Jackson and Harrington, who in my opinion, are really just glorified role players who can't shoot all that great. They probably won't be huge big minutes and they should never have in the first place.
Now it's a wait and see game to find out whether the Warriors can keep Biedrins/Ellis, and/or Baron. With the whole LA Clipper situation being a mess (lol) it's really hard to say what's gonna happen. With Wright developing quickly at PF, if they can keep Ellis and Biedrins they'll be in the drivers seat for the next 5 years. With all the teams spending their money on Brand, Iguodala, Smith etc. Andris and Monta might come cheaper than you think...
PG - Ellis/_____
SG - Jackson/Bellinelli
SF - Maggette/Randolph
PF - Wright/Harrington
C - Biedrins/Harrington
Looking pretty solid for now, AND the future.

I'm not near as against this signing as everyone else is, Maggette is a great player, the only thing that concerns me is how often he gets injured.

I bet hes gonna become a chucker like Baron Davis because of Don Nelson. He is not going to get injured since he doesn't drive that often also now that with Don Nelson coaching, no shot is a bad shot.

Re: Hang in there guys...
It just dawned on me the other day what may be going on as far as the Warriors PG situation.
I had totally spaced on the fact that Mulsen seemed to really like CJ Watson
Maybe they really are going for Ellis / Watson at PG,
but then is CJ much of a passer or more of a carry and shoot or catch and shoot guy?
I didn't see much passing prowess from him last year, but then he may have been just doing what coach said to do, which was come in to the game to drive & shoot or catch & shoot.

This seems like the right thread for this: TK interviewed Nellie today, highlights:

-Maggette figures to be the starting small forward and Nelson says he’s moving Stephen Jackson to the off-guard spot.
-Monta Ellis is the point guard.
-If Ronny Turiaf’s offer sheet isn’t matched by the Lakers, he’d fit in as the Warriors’ back-up center.
-Nelson says that Anthony Randolph is showing a lot in the summer league practices.
