I'd have to think if a trade isn't made sometime this offseason using Claxton's salary, they'll buy him out.

I don't think Davidson is a guaranteed contract, so if they can do better then he's out.

Wright and Belli are on the hit list it seems, but both showed good promise last year. Nellie isn't just giving them away. He knows they can play if need be.

So finding some spots won't be to hard if we make good moves or find a diamond in the rough.

I like our team, minus Davidson, Claxton, and Law. Law will get his tryout in Summer League. Would love to trade Maggette, but Nellie won't and though expensive he's alright as a 6th man.

We just need a banger who Nellie will use.

There's going to be some kind of trade to thin the bench. If they don't use Claxton's deal to improve the team I'll be pissed. There's really no good reason to buy him out.

Keepers:
Randolph
BIedrins
Turiaf
Morrow

Willing to trade:
Curry
Ellis
Belinelli
Wright
Jackson
Davidson
Law

GTFO:
Azubuike
Claxton
Maggette

If the Warriors like their UFAs better they'll cut Claxton, maybe even Davidson or Law, just like they got rid of Hendrix, Lasme, POB, etc.

If the Warriors cut Claxton they'll still have to pay him. Considering that there's about a 1% chance that he actually contributes to the team this year and the fact that his contract (especially with the potential insurance payout) is valuable around the league right now, they should absolutely trade him to get a piece that could contribute.

I like this roster, but we need to move a wing that we know Nellie's going to play all the time to the detrement of the team, or as I know it, "Nellie ball".

Dangle Maggette and Wright at Utah for Milsap S & T. We need Beef.

I like this roster, I hope Nellie likes this roster and I hope this roster likes this roster.

Utah is over the luxury tax limit already without Milsap; they aren't going to S&T him. They probably will try to reduce their current cap commitments, so that package (or something similar) could nab Kirilenko from them.

Cutting Claxton already, huh PR team?
Well- way to grab an asset there.

Meanwhile, it'll be too late for the relevant free agents unless we're playing RFA Roulette up until the season start.

Here we go again. Whole lotta nothin. Folks never learn.

Who cares about the UFA's anyway... they don't have to come here. There are no guarantees. Go play for another team, when you find one that hasn't canceled their summer league that is.

You're not even offering a serious idea, you're doing your usual irritation schtick.
The Warriors already missed the boat on the good UFAs. It happens that quickly.

At best, they can get one of the solid contributors if they've alreayd opened dialogue.
Sounds like they've been busy not getting Amar'e.
Then again, they've been a little quieter in the forums so perhaps they're doing some work for a change.

Focus on the topic at hand- the Warriors have nothing to talk about and no one to talk to despite desperate stabs at relevance.

I have always pushed for the dubs to take a good look at Josh Heytvelt of Gonzaga he looks like a guy who has what it takes to come off the bench with energy, block some shots play defense and can hit from the outside. and at 6'11" 260 thats some pretty good size.

The Warriors will sign someone on a minimum deal is my guess.
Are they in a rush to trade two or three or four for one to sign some of the relevant FAs, though?
Sounds like a panic move, to me.
