Game Information

Last meeting
In Week 2 of 2006, Baltimore sacked Oakland QB Andrew Walter six times and forced as many turnovers in a 28-6 home rout of the Raiders.

Streaks
Baltimore has won four of five meetings with the Raiders, including a 16-3 win in the 2000 AFC Championship Game.

Last week
Terrell Suggs returned an interception 44 yards for a touchdown, leading the Ravens defense in a 27-13 road win over Miami. ... Sebastian Janikowski kicked a franchise-record 57-yard field goal to defeat the Jets, 16-13, in overtime.

Keep your eye on ...
Flacco's game-management: Ravens rookie QB Joe Flacco had his best performance of the season against Miami last week, posting a 120.2 passer rating while providing his team with the type of game-management they need to complement a stifling defense. Flacco completed over 73 percent of his passes for the second consecutive week and did not turn the ball over for the first time since Week 1.

Mason making plays: Veteran WR Derrick Mason recorded his first touchdown of the season last Sunday and leads the Ravens with 33 receptions. Baltimore's next highest receiving total is 13. Mason, who is establishing a nice chemistry with Flacco, has averaged 91.3 receiving yards against the Raiders in his four previous games against Oakland.

Miller high life: TE Zach Miller leads the Raiders in receptions (18) and receiving yards (256), benefiting from a 27th-ranked Raiders passing attack that has been more aggressive under interim head coach Tom Cable. The second-year TE has 12 catches for 198 yards over his last three games, including last week's 27-yard reception to help set up Janikowski's winning field goal.

Did you know?
Raiders rookie RB Darren McFadden is averaging 5.1 yards per carry. ... WR Javon Walker recorded his first touchdown as a Raider last week. ... The Ravens have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 25 straight games, the longest current streak in the NFL.

I actually went to this game. Nice win and a dominating performance, right from the get-go, with the safety.

Flacco's numbers were nothing to rave about, but I can tell you that they don't speak for his actual game. There were a few fantastic passes that were pulled back due to questionable flags.

But 1 passing TD, 1 running TD and no INT's is just fine to me.

Great game.

told ya i was confident.

anyways, it's great to see them beating down the really bad teams, you have to do that to be considered one of the better teams.

i wish we had video of the coaches meeting when the idea of throwing a pass to flacco was brought up.
