Derrick Mason Retires

Post#1 » by miller31time » Tue Jul 14, 2009 1:49 am

Let's hear it for our #1 receiver - Mark Clayton!

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

We better get Marshall or Boldin (or at the least, Toomer) because if we don't and either pick up a cheap, average receiver or simply do nothing, we're as screwed as screwed could possibly be.

I trust Ozzie, so I'm willing to not be in complete panic mode right now.

it is a bit worrying. hopefully the front office was prepared for this eventuality.

maybe troy smith has been absolutely amazing at wr

i can hope

edit: since this seems to have shocked everyone, the front office probably wasn't prepared

uh

crap.

the hit to our already deficient passing game aside, I'm gonna miss Mason. he was one of the most underrated and consistent receivers of the past decade, a solid player in every sense of the word.

That's a relief. I really thought there was no way in hell he was coming back.

Joe Flacco must be the happiest man alive right now.
