Crazy talk, new stadium, or at the very least, a dome

im more of a build schools not stadiums type. but since ny is helping $$$
lots in building two new stadiums for the yanks and mets. not the mention
the money spent to build those two minor league parks for both clubs. and
ny was sooo willing to help $$$$$$ build that gazillion dollar jets stadium.
im thinking the least the state can do is put a dome on top of orchard.

Dome on top of Orchard?...
That would take, quite possibly, Billion plus, for the renovations and retrofitting Orchard Park to be able to handle a Dome...
Better hope would be for a completely new stadium..
Of course, with talks of moving, I highly doubt they'd be talking about a new stadium...

to put like a balloon air filled dome i think it'll be like $100 mil.
there's an air filled balloon dome thats used at my tennis court in
manhattan, its taken down from time to time for court clay work.
that thing has lasted forever and its pretty big and takes the pain
and punishment of being under a bridge.
i think it should be like that so you can play outdoor bills games in
good weather then put the dome up when the weather gets bad.

if they were to move (not that im for it) but it would be cool if they kept
the team upstate yet moved it to like the capitol city (albany.) kind of
fits the name too albany bills. being that bills are passed in albany.

ny has got 5 new stadiums last 10 years. bad idea for bills to even get a
dome? i think not.
only reason the bills don't get anything is because they lack political clout.
heck if you asked 10 new yorkers on the street what state the buffalo bills
play in. i bet you'd get nearly half who wouldnt know, ny.
the press here doesnt treat the bills as a hometown team. and the state
doesnt promote the bills as a hometown team.

There is no way the Bills are getting a new stadium unless their is a new owner willing to fork over more $. By the way, I'm pretty sure that the Yankees are paying for the stadium themselves (if not close to all).

they're building it on public land, and a billion in public bonds & the
city has spent $160 million in direct spending for the new stadium.
so yea not even close to paying it for themselves.
bills could not even dream of getting such a sweet deal, but maybe bills
can convince albany on a simple dome. if albany doesnt want to directly
pay for it. they can bond it out, like the new yanks stadium was bonded.
im not a big fan of using public bonds in such a way myself. it's using the
taxpayers credit card to get what is suppose to be a commercial property
built. the old socialize the risk, privatize the profits scheme.
but its whats done when building stadiums unfortunately. so might as well
get at least a dome out of it. if not at some point the bills will have to move
to a part of the state with more political clout.

I think a dome is a bad idea because it's a huge advantage come Winter time. Visiting teams hate playing in Orchard Park and it really helps our record a bit.

Yes sir, no need for a dome in Buf. The cold and snow is great against warm weather teams in the playoffs.

The Bills make me laugh. People didn't go to the last 4 home games because the Bills sucked!
In the past the cold wasn't a reason for not going to games, it's no excuse now either.

that's probably true Huskies, 'cause if you look at Green Bay (cold there as well) people are still watching the Packers play. My suggestion is for the Bills to come & play the last 2 games over @ Roger Center in Toronto, there's a huge fan base in Toronto & the drive over from Buffalo is just an hour & a half, let alone there's no huge line up when crossing to the Canadian side.

i dont thinnk that any cold weather teams should have domes. takes away their natural advantage

Im not a Bills fan but I go to Ralph Wilson every year to check out a game or 2 and my biggest beef with the stadium is not the cold...its the traffic and parking which is absolutely atrocious..I quite enjoy going to Bills games when its snowing, it adds to the atmosphere IMO...

On another note Latrell I bumped into Anthony Gonzalez yesterday. He's not bigger than me at all and I'm pretty small.
He almost spat on me.

Me and my buddies were just chilling on the strip checking out some of the bars and I look back at this girl and my next step I'm bumping into Anthony Gonzalez.
He gave me a nod and while still talking on his phone spit beside mid sentence mind you.
