The Buffalo Bills fired head coach Dick Jauron on Tuesday after a 3-6 start in which the offense has been one of the worst in the NFL.

Jauron was 24-33 since being hired by former general manager Marv Levy in 2006 to be head coach. He has two years remaining on his contract that will pay him a total of $6 million in 2009 and 2010.

+1 .. some good coaches might be available this offseason (or so Madden 10 tells me). Let's play our cards right and put a good system together.

About damn time, now old man Wilson needs to bring in one of these three guys to turn this ship around... Cowher,Shanahan or Gruden, anything else would be unacceptable.

Now you get to deal with a real bumpkin in Gailey. Have fun.

this link is to Dallas sports talk/guy talk that like to make fun of everyone, including Gailey.

Pre-mature celebration. Should have waited to see if they were going to hire someone good.

They didn't.

Jerry Jones did say this Fall that he did not give Gailey enough time. Easy to say 10 years after.

Yeah, easy to say 10 years later. Might have just been helping him get a job.

Last season he coached the Chiefs offense to 25th in the league and Gailey will be running the offense. Don't see the Bills going anywhere with him. If they wanted to do the recycle boys coaching club, they could have brought in one of the good ones. Or a coordinator who actually did well last year.
