i dont think we could ask for a tougher opener having to go to san diego w/out smith. only way we win this game is through controling the running game on both sides. keep LT in check and get DW and JS going like the skins game. limit the amount of times we put jake in 3rd and long.

What a mind-blowing finish against one of the top teams in the NFL; a team that many believe will end up in the SB. Well, with Jake and Musin back, look out!

One of the most enjoyable games I've seen in a while. Just wait for Smith to come back!

Have to feel real good about this win for several reasons:

1. Did it without Smith. Hackett, Rosario, Moose and Jarrett all stepped up today.
2. Defense played very well vs a talented explosive offense
3. Jake looked very solid. I feel good about his recovery.
4. New O line played very well! Protected on pass and opened holes on the run.

I just want to take a second a thank your Carolina Panthers for beating the Chargers....anytime I get to see Phillip Rivers lose is a grand day...good luck this year
