Bengals have 3rd and 3 at their 40 with 1:11 left. First down. We can only hope for a tie now. 2nd and 10 at own 45. Big catch gives them a first at Panther with 34 seconds left. Penalty also. Now at Panther 16. Loose ball but Bengals have it. 2 seconds to play and the Bengals have a 36 yard FG to win. Missed!!! Tie game. Game over.

A tie is better than a loss

We need somebody decent in the secondary. I am sick of the garbage the DC is given to work with. 3rd and 3 and he has to play them 7 yards off or they get beat deep. Such a poorly put together unti.

Saw that the end of the stadium where Gano missed the 38 yard FG is the same end where Nugent missed the potential game winner for Cinci in OT. Said the wind swirls a lot there, and that is what caused both kickers to have trouble at that end. OK. Well, at least we tied. But we could have and should have won this game today.

For the first time ever a tie feels like a win. I thought RR should have went for it though, Cam could have gotten that first down and then probably eventually a game winning TD.

Yeah the secondary is not very good. White gets beat too often, DeCoud is bleh, Roman Harper is a ball hawk but isn't all that quick anymore and I've seen him a few times take some really bad angles. Cason I do like, but the group as a whole is below average at best.

I think we could replace any of them with what we had last year and instantly be better. Mitchell, Mikell, Flourence and Captain were all better then the current counterparts. Our secondary has to be one of the slowest in the NFL. The only guy who can run is Decoud and he can't tackle anything. White is the only CB who can give five yards of cushion and be a yard behind on a fly route 10 yards into it.

Felt like a loss to me. Poor play calling on third and shorts and no players in the secondary cost us. One is on the coaches the other is on the GM.

Yep, just too slow to play corner. He should be playing safety if he's playing at all.

I didn't get to watch the whole thing so part of it was I was watching on Gamecast on my phone and was for sure we were about to lose on the FG attempt. On the bright side it looks like we may get Stewart back this week.

What we need is Bene and Norman back. They are the only two athletes we have at CB. We need to draft two OT and a quality CB in the first 4 rounds next season.

I'll bet he caught a lot of smack talk when the 9ers put us out of the playoffs last season, that can easily be changed! :)

Word is that Benjamin was concussed in the Bengals game. Did not practice Wednesday and is going thru the concussion protocol. He is questionable for the Packer's game on Sunday. We need him to be healthy and play that game. Hope he passes the tests on Thur or Fri.
