Misses practice again today, hopefully he's alright for Sunday.

Wow are we idiots. From the top down this has to be the dumbest franchise right now. 3 & 12 and we get caught offsides on two straight hard counts and then the GM incompetence shows with our awful secondary.

Packers are making this game not worth watching. halfway thru the 1st and it is 14-0. They are running over our defense like we were not there. So sad.

No DEs once we lost Hardy and letting our entire secondary go is killing our team. A lot of the runs have come on the edge where our slow corners are not strong enough to fight off blocks. No speed and no strength. Man that sounds like a guy we should sign to play outside on our defense.

If Gettleman is still employed and in the facility on Monday then it is a sign to all the players that we have given up on the season. He told us we had OT and we don't. He let Ginn go and got 0 speed to replace him. He put together the slowest weakest secondary in the NFL. He just doesn't have it. The game passed him by and that is why the Giants didn't want him.

I don't have too much an issue with Gettleman. He did inherit a mess as far as our cap situation from his predecessor. I do not think he handled the Steve Smith matter well at all. But we have to dig out of the hole that we are in with our salary, and hard decisions had to be made. It is what it is. The fact is that our defense is what is letting us down, and although a large part of it is Hardy being off the field, not many people have an issue with his being off the field. It is Hardy's fault. This defense is playing so far under what they are capable of right now, it is truly sickening.

I was watching the game with some Packer fans yesterday unfortunately, man we got spanked. Rodgers picked this secondary apart and by the time the offense could get even a 1st down the game was pretty much over. This team is pretty damn mediocre right now and the big problems we have aren't necessarily all that fixable mid-season.

The NFC South is playing horrible as a whole right now but you almost hope we aren't the ones to make it out of the division with the way this team is playing right now because we'll just get our asses handed to us on a bigger stage.

This man told us Chandler and Bell were going to be good tackles. If that is not grounds for dismissal then I am not sure what is. Everything we knew about Bell told all us non football people he would do terrible. He said that there were no tackles at our picks better than what we had and that means he either lied to us all or has 0 eye for talent at that position. We need a new guy at that position if we want to succeed.

The defense is not capable of anything more than this right now. Our safeties are the worst in the league and our CBs may be the slowest in the league. Our D-line needed Hardy and his ability to pressure and play the run. This defense was completely depended on Hardy for the run and never had a chance against the pass.

Hate that Godfrey had to go, but he did. Just has not returned to the form we need to help on defense. And Lord knows we need help on defense.

Also, very happy the NFL got it right on Luke Kuechly and said he will not be fined. They went as far as saying his ejection was not called for also. Totally exonerated Luke. But by the 3rd qtr and his ejection, the game was over, so it did not cost us anything.

Last season the Panther's defense gave up a league low 21 TD's. So far through 7 games games, they have given up a league high 24. What a difference. And that tells us where the biggest problem may be along with a decent starting LT.
