Cam. You are making some absolutely horrible throws.

jr, I think I have to disagree. Unless Cam can turn it around, I let him walk. I am not going to pay $15 mil / year to a QB who plays this bad. I'd rather draft a young new QB than ride that horse for another 4-5 years. His throws are off, his decisions poor, and he has lost his confidence. I backed him since he was drafted, but can back him no more if he cannot show me something more than this garbage I have seen this season.

Remember when the GM took a really long pause when asked if Cam is the franchise QB? i wonder if he decides to clean house and start over.

Good point.

Benjamin just make a fantastic TD catch! That was awesome. His 8th TD of the season. This kid is really good. So glad he fell to us in the draft.

Finally!! Cam is finally playing like last season. Two TD passes in this 4th qtr and with the extra pt, Panthers have the lead 17-16. First place in the division is back in our grasp if we can hold on. Come on Defense!

Ever since the fights, this team is playing with fire like at no other time this season.

And no sooner said, than the Falcons start pushing the ball down our throats. 4 minutes to play and Falcons at the
Panther's 35 . 3rd down and 5. Need to force a FG try. Nope. 1st down and they are running the clock. Defense has to step up!!! :banghead:

2:08 and Falcons lead 19-17 after a 44 yard FG. Cam has to prove himself worthy right here. This is it. Win and we take the Division lead. Lose, and we are 1 game from the cellar as the Bucs are improving and winning today. Come on Cam! Do it!

I can understand why, but to me he's too talented a piece to just let walk. It's not just picking a young QB in the draft vs Cam either, its that young QB vs Cam and whatever other WR, OT, secondary piece or whatever that we could get with the pick that we spend on that QB. After so many years of mediocre QB play from this franchise we finally have a guy who could be that franchise guy, I am not so confident in him as of right now either but if it was up to me I couldn't let him walk.

Wow! He missed. After the team moving the ball thru the air, they get conservative and run the ball so they can force Atlanta to use timeouts. Stupid to shut down your own momentum! Just stupid. Panthers force a punt but Carolina will have only 22 seconds but we start at our own 16. At the 30 with 15 seconds. At the 37 with 8 seconds. 65 yard FG attempt blocked. Panthers lose.

and Gano gets blocked on a 60+ yard FG, the Falcans are 1st in division and the Panthers are 3rd?

Thought we were going to be 1st in the Division. Instead, we are now looking at a Top 10 draft pick. What a difference a narrowly missed FG makes.

I still think the Panthers need to deactivate Cam for the remainder of the season. They're probably going to get similar if not better production out of Anderson.
