Will this be the 1st victory of the Cam Newton era? Can he throw for 400 years for an unprecedented 3rd straight game? Jacksonville has a good run defense, but their passing defense is suspect. But Carolina does need to get the running game going to make it easier for the passing game to continue to flourish.

Prediction: Carolina 34 Jags 24

Think Cam gets 2 passing TD's and throws 1 INT. RB's get the other 2 TD's Cam throws for over 300, but falls short of 400 because the running game gets going and we use up clock.
Gabbert will do welll his first start with a couple passing TD's and a couple INT's. But he will show he belongs as a starting QB in the NFL.

Playing in a monsoon! Field is flooded; the kind of stuff you liked to play in in Junior High. Not throwing conditions for either QB. But Gabbet hit on a 37 yard TD as time expired in the Half to give the Jaguars a 10 - 5 HT lead.

Cam is off target so far. 12 - 23 for 71 yards. Weather not helping, but he has been a little high most of the day, even before the rain started.

Ugly game, but a gutty win! Panthers will 16 - 10. Late 4th qtr drive led by Cam, culminating in a 16 yard TD pass to Olsen. 2 pt conversion to Olsen as well.

Cam was 18 for 34 158 yards 1 TD and 0 INT. He was off so much, but never lost confidence. Terrific on that drive to win the game. RB's did not do great, but they did enough to help up win. And that is what counts.

Congrats to Rivera and Cam for their first win!

Stewart played well but that new deal for DeAngelo isn't looking good right now. Hope he picks it up.

Newton played hard, make some mistakes here and there but he led the team to a win. Honorable mention for Williams filling it at LB for Davis. He played a good game and had several quality tackles on defense.
