Both teams played poorly last week. Who plays better?

So far, Caolina up 3-0. One INT for Cam, but Stafford has 2 INT's and they have a fumble also. Wow! 3 possessions, and 3 turnovers for Detroit.

10-0 Carolina near end of 1st qtr. Cam is 5-9 for 75 yards, 1 TD to Smith, and 1 Int. Defense playing well so far today.

Wow! Points in a hurry. Detroit gets a TD in just over 1 minute, then Pilares returns KO 102 yards for TD. Carolina up 17 - 7.

Cam's 8th rushing TD. Carolina up 24 - 7 halfway thru 2nd qtr.

Detroit gets a TD to make it 24-14. Cam drives Carolina in a 2 minute drive to get a FG to end the half up 27 - 14. Carolina gets the ball to start the 2nd half. A sustained drive with points may take the will away from Detroit.

Ouch. Smith drops a 1st down pass, and Detroit gets 2 TD in first 2 possessions of 2nd half to take lead 28 - 27.

49 - 35 wn by Detroit. After Detroit started with TO's on first 3 possessions, Stafford was a monster and killed our Defense.

Cam had 1 TD, 4 INT's and 2 rushing TD's. Just not enough on the team yet to turn the corner, but they will soon. Need more players and to get back people like Beason who are injured.

We're certainly on the right track but that defense needs help. Also, the offensive line has to give Cam more time to work even though Detroit has a very formidable front four.

I think Pilares has a future here. He reminds me of Bess from Miami. Similar player, same school.

Cam will learn with experience. He was trying to make things happen with those last two throws but it didn't work out. It's a good learning experience for him.

I was at the game! It was a great time and a great game. Newton was awesome, stats aside. Liked DeAngelo, and Gamble did a great job on Megatron. Stafford was really good though, and Kevin Smith must have had the best game of his carer. Tons of fun.
