The injury brings a premature close to a frustrating season for Wallace, who is eligible to become a free agent. Wallace sat out all of training camp over a contract dispute and can hit the open market if the Steelers choose not to use their franchise tag on him.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? ;) (Allowing for cap constraints, of course.)

Or if we can't land him, he'd look great in Washington, or, of course, back in Pittsburgh.

Would love to see him as a weapon for Cam.

1. We can't afford him.
2. He is overrated.

Wallace has speed, but he isn't an exceptional playmaker outside of being a deep threat. He isn't especially tall either (6'1) and therefore isn't going to be quite the redzone target we need.

What are the team's needs?

Do you all think that Rey Maualuga (linebacker) of Bengals fame would be a good fit for the Panthers? Do we need more help along the offensive line or on defense?

I always thought Ray Maualuga was a better suited in a 3-4 defense....

After signing Florence for CB to replace Gamble, not sure we have any moves left except the Draft.
