yea they're a pretty terrible matchup for us. and they're going to be extra motivated because of that blown game against us in seattle.

I don't think Green Bay would be any easier, to be honest. That offense got on track against Washington in a big way. A confident Aaron Rodgers isn't a better draw than this Seattle team. NFC is brutal across the board, I'd honestly take all four of the NFC teams over Pitt/KC and NE/Denver would be no better than a coin flip against any of them even at home. Superior conference in 2016 for sure.

I think we can take Seattle, just have to come out focused and avoid mistakes. It would be really tough to lose to them though, because they're such jackasses. Even Wilson is a special brand of awe-shucks fakery. Would be rough to suffer through watching all the chest-pounding and macho theatrics on our home field, so I hope our offense can get on track early and the defense controls the game from there. I think the jet lag will play a role and their bravado will start to fritter away if they can't get much traction by the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Worst thing for us would be them jumping out to a lead followed by our guys (Cam especially) feeling tempted to start pressing things to get back into the game. That leads to turnovers and blowouts.

On the Washington Post article, I think if Seattle starts getting to Cam consistently we should lean heavily on his legs. I know everyone (myself included) prefers to see him protect himself but the playoffs are a different beast. If the pass rush is too intense I hope Shula isn't scared to call a bunch of designed runs to make Seattle's D respect the dual threat and not just barrel in at full speed every down. It wouldn't be too surprising to see us come out run-heavy early anyway, mix up a rested Stewart with a few change-ups to Cam and get Seattle guessing from the start.
