Panthers are certainly cashing in on dumb luck so far. Derek Anderson needs to spark something for the offense, we reeally need a TD on this drive.

I have never been a fan of Derek Anderson as a backup. I have always wondered why we never got a backup QB that was somewhat similar to Newton. Vick RG3 or even draft one like dak prescott

Very ugly first half. Shut out and outplayed by a not very good Tampa Bay team. We really can't afford to lose this one.

I've always been fine with Anderson, was a decent quarterback in Cleveland. But yeah, I agree that I wish we had someone who was more similar to Cam's style. Hopefully we won't need him for long anyways.

I agree and anderson gets HUGE money as a backup. We could put it elsewhere. The best backup ever had to be Steve Young to Montana GEEEEEEEEEEEEEESHHHHHHHHHH
Hostetler wasnt bad for simms either tho.
Even a guy like Geno Smith might not be bad for our system as a backup. I even like Joe Webb a bit.
What would be funny is if we bring Tim Tebow to backup Cam. Flip from college years at florida

Yeah man our only chance is if the offensive line can start playing well and we have to ride cam. We have no hope other than Cam and our o-line. Even then we will just make the playoffs and get bounced out. Way too many good teams this year.
Also I have a feeling we might have been some sort of fluke last year. If you think about it the teams last year were pretty much all mediocure
