NFL has to get rid of their hard cap situation. It's one of the many areas where the NBA is far superior than the NFL. Unless your the Patriots, they make it almost impossible to sustain a good team.

So, if we end up going something like 4-12 or 5-11, does anyone get fired? Dave? Ron? Shula? Sean? Or does making the superbowl give everyone on the staff a get our of jail free card for at least one year?

i would keep ron/dave, maybe fire the DC/OC coordinators.

At this point, it's pretty clear we're bad. But it's cool, good offensive lineman go early, so we'll need a high pick. Gettleman would still probably draft a DT, a LB, or a big WR.

Carolina has to take a timeout. Trainers looking at Benjamin, who had soreness in surgically repaired knee this wk.

We suck at covering TE's. Even garbage ones like Cody Fleener destroy us. Then again, I guess we can't cover anyone really.

One thing you can say about this team is at least they haven't given up on this game. Plenty of negatives, but a few big positives.

If Gano just cost us the game, he HAS to go. That is inexcusable.

Are opposing teams paying Gano to blow games for us? Why was this guy not cut like weeks ago?

Wait, the over/under for this game was only 53?

I would have emptied out my bank out on the over if I would have known that beforehand.

New Orleans sends everyone deep, just three guys at the line and they still get to Cam. That was kind of funny.

This game went about as I expected. Including my draftkings lineups (Brees/Cooks in every one. Knew there was no way we could come close to stop them).

Draft is loaded at the top. Might as well tank.

However the optimist says that we are a couple of plays from 4-2. Make that FG in Denver, and this team is on top of the NFC South, I believe that. That FG miss crushed the season, and we didn't know it until a month later.
