Who do you prefer Carr or Harrington

Harrington is a gunslinger and an interception machine like Delhomme.. So I would rather us have Carr..

I would love to see what Carr can do when he's not having to throw on the back peddle or from his back.

Lol...I guess we didn't think he'd suck that bad huh? I personally was happy as well, thinking a change of scenary and offensive line was all he needed. Boy were we all wrong.

Baby steps... don't we need a starting QB first? Delhomme's not getting any younger, so a succession plan might be nice before we contemplate 28-year old busts.
Out of those two, though, definitely Carr. He's already familiar with the playbook.

I'd say Carr for sure. I think that he's actually a really good QB even though he hasn't had much success.

This is why you take DEs #1 and not QBs.
From what I saw of Matt Moore last year, he looked pretty good. Think he could be a starter in a couple years? If so, that saves our collective asses, and if not, I still think we should keep looking.

When the Jets release Pennington later today, I would not mind seeing him sign on with the Panthers. A veteran back up just in case something goes wrong with Jake's elbow and the Tommy John surgery. I know Matt Moore did OK the last 3 games last year, but Pennington could tutor him some. Cannot underestimate the value of veteran leadership. Pennington never had the strongest arm, but he has been a solid QB.

Delhomme is enough veteran leadership imo, especially considering he's had way more success than Pennington. Besides, Pennington's allegedly a Dolphin now anyway, although I sure wouldn't have given him that much per year.
Anyone else feel like Pennington's age (32!!!) is a sign that the world is moving too quickly? I always thought of him as a young guy in terms of the NFL, and if I were forced to guess, I would've pegged him at 29. I guess those chads hung a long time ago, though.
