Panthers vs Vikings

Post#1 » by ohara » Sat Sep 20, 2008 11:46 am

Should be a good test for us. Vikings have a solid Defensive Line which will make the running attack a competitive issue for us. Smitty being back will only help with the passing game. The Vikings pulled Jackson and have an OK passing game, but A.P is banged up and is a game time decision - good for us. I hate that Chris Harris has a thigh bruise and may not play Sunday. He's been our best Defensive player to date.

I can see us scoring 20-24 pts. It is just a matter of whether our Defense holds them to less. I dont see us scoring much more against a pretty solid Defense. It worries me that Minn is too good to fall to 0-3, but we will see.

Your last sentence is what I was thinking too. However, we should be confident about this one - w've been tested twice and passed twice.

Gus Frerotte is still playing? :o Oh dear.

losing chris harris will hurt. we'll need him in run support.

i just traded for steve smith in my main fantasy league. he better hook me up.

if the ground game starts slowly (which it probably will), how long do we continue to try and pound it?

WOW! We looked so very pedestrian. We played well up until the final minute ofthe 1st half when Jake blunder badly That sack and fumble was all on Jake. From that point on they domiated us That was just a very disppointing game.

I finally get to see a Panthers game and this is what happens? Twenty unanswered points?
