Detroit at Char

Post#1 » by ohara » Sun Nov 16, 2008 10:17 pm

A victory, but harder than expected. 31 - 22. Great run game as Williams had 100+ and 2 TD's and Stewart had 100+ and 1 TD. We set a team record for rushing yards in a single game. Jake and the passing game was anemic - again. 1 TD but under 100 yards passing. Jake is off target many times, and that is a big worry for us. We have a 1 game lead over Tampa, a 2 game lead over Atlanta (who lost at home!) and a 3 game lead over the Saints.

Next week, we play at Atlanta. Jake better get his crap together real quick, b/c the Falcons will stack the inside for the run and force Jake to beat them. A few weeks ago I would not fear that, but Jake has been so far off base lately that I am beginning to get worried.

I was shocked when it was 10-0 but hey, 31-12 after that is fine with me.

The Atlanta game shouldn't be too bad. I think it's a toss-up, but we do have the better team Also, Vick's departure might be the best thing that could've happened to them considering the way Matt Ryan's been playing.

Anyone else disappointed in Minny? At least I like GB...
