Denver at Carolina

Carolina playing it's last home game - of the regular season at least. Very very big game and we cannot be over confident and over look this team. NY is at Dallas, and a Dallas victory and Panthers victory will have the Giants and Paanthers tied for the top seed going into next weeks game. That game will likely decide the #1 seed in the NFC.

We just came off a very emotional win over Tampa, and next week have the Giants. This is a trap game, so Foxy MUST get these men focused and ready to play. Denver has not stopped the run all year, so I expect a heavy dose of Williams and Stewart tomorrow. Any lapse in concentration and we can lose, so keep up your guard men! And go get victory #11!

This is where Delhomme comes into play. Not for his passing - I think DeAngelo Williams can carry our offence today - but because Delhomme is one of the mentally toughest quarterbacks in the league today. I say we win, maybe only by a touchdown or so but we win. We understand what's at stake here, are at home and are the better team.

We would've lost this game last season, but I think we prevail. (27-20 or so?)

A 30 - 10 butt whipping is what we laid on Denver today. Very nicely done by the guys. We did not sew up a Playoff spot yet as Atl beat TB in OT. But if Dallas loses, we sew up a Playoff spot. However, if Dallas wins, then we enter next weeks game with The Giants tied for the #1 seed. But even if NY wins tonight, next week would still be for the #1 seed lead. So I guess we pull for NY?

Denver came stacking the box to stop the run. So Jake just passed to Smith and Mohammed all day. And Williams and Stewart each got a rushing TD anyway, so they cant be disappointed.

On to NY to face the Giants.

Talk about a tough conference... 11-3 not even clinching a playoff spot. I'm confident we'll make it though. Two of the Eagles, Cowboys, Falcons and Bucs not making it is just crazy. That said, I see the Cowboys dropping their last two, and that'll do 'em.

I'll be glued to our game against the Giants next week. That and the Steelers/Titans game are a hell of a double main event, eh? Two biggest games of the season. [Kind of like the Packers/Cowboys game last season... would that mean Philly's taking the Superbowl? (I seriously wouldn't put it past them.)]

I watched Pittsburgh/Baltimore start to finish. Talk about a dispaly of beautiful football. I hope the two big games next week are that good. Not that I'd complain about a couple DeAngelo Williams rushing TDs, mind you.
