Um... is there one?

In theory, this past April would have been an ideal time to draft a QB, but I'm not sure anything of value was available, especially since Carolina didn't pick until the 2nd round and then jumped up for Brown.

Does anybody think Matt Moore is the future? Would you draft a QB pronto and start a groomin', or would you prefer trading for a quasi-proven commodity already in the NFL?

Depends who becomes available and how many years Delhomme has left. I don't think it's worth giving the farm like the Bears did with Cutler, but a smart signing of a ~30-year old would be ideal if Delhomme retires soon and drafting one next yeat would work if Delhomme has a few more years left in him.

I can tell you from firsthand knowledge that they think Matt Moore is going to be Jake's successor. Or should I say Hurney and Fox think so.

I was hoping they would draft someone in the late rounds. Maybe next year,

Honestly, I'd love to see us take a flyer on Vick. We have a tough and respected Coach to keep him straight. We have one of the few owners who is very highly respected and who can get away with saying he is trying to make us better and give Vick a 2nd chance. The Panthers could talk this over with PETA and the other groups and get their blessing and make this work. And he'd be cheap. If he retained his skills, he could very easily step in for Jake due to injury or failure to perform. If he lost his skills, not much money lost.

But word coming out of Charlotte now is that the Panthers are definitely NOT interested.

Matt Moore is THE future

Feeley? OMG, this team is in turmoil. McNabb goes down, and the Eagles dont even ring Feeley's bell. He played for them, and they go elsewhere. Tells me everything.

Matt Moore played well in the few games he played the year before last. But all indications are that he regressed badly, and that is why the team went out and got McCown and put Moore back to the emergency 3rd string.

The Eagles didn't need Feeley because Garcia requested to be waived by the Raiders. Garcia had played in Philly too and had a great reputation there.

I'm not sure how getting Feeley helps. Is he better than McCown?
