I can here it now, "we didn't want to overwork Turnbow."

He hadn't pitched since the 14th,the only reason Yost didn't use him is he's like a sheep that follos what all other managers do.Refuse to use the setup man unless it's the beginning of the 8th inning.

Right, more or less Yost was afraid to allow Turnbow to try and get 4 outs instead of 3. Almost as if Turnbow is not allowed to pitch more than one inning to avoid some sort of meltdown. As if Turnbow would completely forgot how to pitch again if he gave up a hit. Jeez Ned, he is going to give up a hit or two this year.

We worry about Braun playing here , because he make too many errors.
3 tonight. Do we lead the Majors in errors? Seems like it.

I had a feeling that when Capellan got sent down we would pay for it. I was not happy when Dessens and Aquino got spots, as they're unknowns. Damn Capellan for not showing up to camp in shape! I do think he'll be coming back though. unless he's so upset we package him and mench and get them both the f out. I couldn't believe when yost decided to take out shouse after two awesome k's. I was even more upset when Aquino came in. They need to figure out that first half of the bullpen, fast.

On another note, I don't know how many of you are superstitious, but I am, so I"m gonna let the next game-thread maker know a couple things I did that I don't think worked. First, I bitched about Mench. Also, no picture after the pre-game summary, nor a prediction on who might do something. Thats all, maybe if anyone else cares about **** like this we can figure out what "works" and what doesn't

It must be a Milwaukee thing. Just like the Bucks, the Brewers have a decent offense but absolutely no defense. We can deduce from this that Milwaukee is not a defensive city. Milwaukee is an offensive city. Boy, that sounds like something Gary Sheffield would say.

Wrong. It looked really bad live but on the replay you can see that Hart made a good decision. He slowed down to avoid the tag out/toss to 1B double play which looked like the most logical thing for the 2B to do. Unfortunately for Hart, the guy decided to flip to the bag -- terrible decision BTW, even though it worked. After that, Hart had stopped almost completely so he had no momentum going into 2B.

IIRC, Hart was voted the best baserunner in AAA his last year there.
