Maybe if the players stayed away from the court system, they wouldn't have this problem!

And Ruben, don't forget that many chances were lost in the endzone in 2004. We needed a back to compliment TJ. Benson was suppose to be that big bruising type of back that can crash the line and score. Instead he came to us as a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, with no fries or a drink.

I understand that. What I'm saying is that did the Bears really need to use the 4th overall pick to find that player? Only a terrible GM would do that. A decent one would go out and get that player later in the draft or sign a Ducket type of player. Either way, there was sure to be a better option than taking Benson at 4.
