Radical QB idea, but....

Post#1 » by SLCceltic » Sat Sep 20, 2008 7:01 pm

What if Rexy starts and Orton starts the second 1/2

Rexy would bolster the offense in less pressure and orton could come in and finish
Both got plenty of work with the first offense

2 QB system
Could this work and be an upgrade??

What do you guys think?
I think Lovie should look into it

I actually like it! Its not as if this hasn't ever been done. I last remember it during the 49ers dynasty, when they had both Joe Montana & Steve DeBerg. However, Orton & Grossman aren't Montana/Deberg. Its not something you implement around week 3 of the NFL Regular Season. Nevertheless, it might be an idea to try next season if our BEARS cannot find a QB. The tough sell will be to Ron Tuner & his staff.

Well, I think this only works if we're leading in the 2nd half...but hey. why not.
