OT: Kiffin firing

Anyone else following this mess ? Davis fires Kiffin after 20 games and won't pay him the remainder of his salary meaning Kiffin has to file a grievance in order to get paid. Davis is now airing ALLLL the dirty laundry - saying Kiffin didn't want JaMarcus Russell but didn't know WHO he wanted instead. Says Kiffin was too critical of the high priced free agents he wanted. And I can't believe Davis made the below letter to Kiffin public !!! Apparently put it on an overhead for reporters to read while he stated his case.

Here's hoping Kiffin gets paid in full. Davis needs to hang 'em up. Old coot.

This is a mess of a situation, and the shame about it all is that the Raiders has some talent on that team. Maybe if they had a stable ownership and coaching condition, they'd be in position to really make some noise.
