Wow the difference one week makes. Last week everything went wrong. This week everything went our way.

Of course it can all be for naught if they don't take care of business tomorrow night. What a massive blow to the stomach that would be, to have everything go right only to fail to capitalize on it yourself.

I bet we lose tomorrow anyway. This team just isn't that good as well, but it's nice to at least still have some hope.

I think we are going to win tomorrow. Actually I fear the Texans game more than the Packer game. It's going to be 4 degrees tomorrow night and Rodgers really hasn't played in any weather quite like that. The Texans are coming off a lose to the Raiders so you know they are going to throw all their darts at us.

The words of a true die hard. Trying not to get your hopes up? Having to beat the Packers to stay alive is the best and worst of all possibilities. I know Doug will be ranting raving and screaming at the TV Monday night!!! :D

Packers run defense is awful, I bet Forte runs all over them. Last time the two teams met, Orton was clearly injured and it messed up the whole offense. They've been good at home this season, I think they'll win quite convincingly, actually.

I'm more concerned about next week though. Andre Johnson and Schaub will kill the secondary, and the Giants have nothing to play for against Minnesota.

I think you nailed it there. I really think we should win, but there is that pessimist part of me that doesn't want to get my hopes up. If by some miracle we did make the playoffs, at least you could argue we'd be going in on a hot streak.

Well I guess not everything worked out perfect since the Giants won last night and clinched home field throughout the playoffs meaning the Vikings play a team with nothing to play for. The game is even in Minnesota, so the Giants don't even need to throw up a good performance for the fans.

Yeah I'm pretty worried that the Giants starters will play about a quarter. There is hope...remember last year, the last game of the season? Giants were locked into the 5 seed and essentially playing just to keep the Patriots from going undefeated? The game had no impact on the playoff seedings and the Giants played their starters and their hearts out, in losing a close game to the Pats. It helped launch them to the Super Bowl.

This year is a different scenario though, if we beat Green Bay Lovie needs to call Coughlin and beg him to go out and try to beat Minnesota.

Let's just beat the $H!T out of Green Bay and then worry about what happens next week.

The Giants need to play hard because they haven't been playing well until last night. Hopefully they will try.

The Giants were one blown FG at the end of regulation away from losing 3 straight games. They have not been playing very well and should play hard next week to try to get things together for the playoffs because they, clearly, aren't coasting into the playoffs playing very good football.

Would the Giants have anything to play for even if they lost last night? They would have had the 2nd seed locked up right?

Dude, I really hope you're right. We can all hope that they will play to win and go into the playoffs on a roll.

The problem is they are also a banged up team. They have played some tough, physical battles and hava a lot of nagging injuries. If you were Coughlin what would you do? I'd worry about getting healthy for their first playoff game after the bye.

Different coaches have different philosophies on this, we'll just have to see what Coughlin does.

We must beat Green Bay for any of this to matter.

I'm not sure, they could have potentially moved into a tie for the 2nd seed with Atlanta, but I'm not sure who'd win the tie break. Maybe the Giants already had that locked up though.
