Rex Grossman a Lion?

Post#1 » by IVSKIN » Thu Feb 26, 2009 3:22 am

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football ... 09.article

I don't know how much I would like seeing him in Detroit. He has talent, and if he ever got his head together, him and Calvin Johnson could be pretty tough to face twice a year. With CJ alone, he would have more weapons in Detroit then he ever had in Chicago.

One positive is how many sacks we would get on him. Guys might be eager to tee up on him, and Detroit's pathetic O-line will make that possible.

I would love is Rex is a Lion because that means we get to play him twice a year

Article mentions Rex has interest but I don't see anything showing the Lions feel the same way.
Turn down for what?

It'd be a good move for the Lions IMO. I'm hoping Rex goes to the AFC personally. Don't want to have to face him if he ever gets his mojo back

Nothing could fill Rex with confidence more than the worst team in the league completely devoid of a quarterback saying they'd rather not deal with you.

I hope this happens. Nothing would make me happier than to see him in a Lions uniform. With $hitna and the Big O leaving for FA he could beecome starter should Culpepper get hurt again.

Return to Chicago Bears
