Mientkiewicz out of lineup tomorrow
Melky to play CF
Damon at DH
Giambi to play 1B

... I'll call it right now, Torre is getting fired.

This is like realizing that dating Rosie just doesn't do it for you and switching to Barbara instead.

Torre is desperate. Giambi at 1B is a horrendous move. I think the Yanks should just give either Damon or Giambi the day off, put the other one at DH and then either Melky or Phelps depending on who is DH. Not to mention neither of these moves can be there long term. We need new blood, let's get Girardi. -Jitpal

I'm not too worried about Pettitte. He pitched a lot for us before and he should have never been allowed to pitch out of the bullpen. Plus, going into the season Pettitte was never expected to pitch that much just a 6 inning guy. I think he will give us that on a consistant basis. -Jitpal

Do you think that throwing 9 pitches in a game instead of 15 off a mound in the bullpen really affected Andy that badly?
