To be fair, he didn't hold on that one. Bad call. But yeah he's pretty brutal.

These whistles have been quick all night and that one may have taken away a game-clinching touchdown.

It wasn't pretty, it was rather boring, but it's a win.

7-3 and hopefully the Packers and Vikings beat the crap out of each other on Sunday.

Gotta love seeing the defense return to it's dominate ways. Peppers putting up 3 sacks, Tommie with the best play I've seen him make in years - albeit in a reserve roll which is working out great with our rotation there at DT, and Urlacher/Briggs swarming. Staying healthy is key. We didn't skip a beat with Roach in there over Pisa but we need Urlacher/Briggs/Peppers to stay healthy. The Miami gameplan was a bit startling. No wildcat or running game was even attempted to get going.

I'm liking what I'm seeing from Martz in the adjustments he's made from earlier in the year. Continuing to rush the ball (40 attempts or so this week) and shorter drops and rollouts for Cutler is helped our oline and been more successful then the 7 step drops. Only bad I took away from the game was the play of Webb out there. Wake lit him up and he was holding on nearly every play. Bottom line is we're 7-3 and have a long layoff before playing Philly which will be another big game against a very hot team.

Forte looked really good. He was explosive and shifty, and it was surprising to see the line opening up some holes and actually getting some push in the run game. Martz has completely changed the philosophy of the offense for the better with shorter drops, a little moving the pocket and sticking with the run game to keep the D from pinning their ears back and rushing the passer.

Cutler played a great game last night except for the one pick, but you wouldn't guess it from his stats. That's definitely a very deceiving stat line.
