It really seemed like a great deal of Forte's runs were to the left side, but with Lance Louis coming over from right guard to be his blocker. Interesting since Carimi was moved to right tackle for blocking the run, but Forte rarely went that direction.

Just watced the game. Carimi has been struggling with false starts and staying on his feet so maybe they're letting him get his feet wet before they got that side too much?
Louis, Bennett and Forte had impressive games. Knox is still soft....
I'm hoping Bennett can take the Isaac Bruce role, while Knox and Hester can combine to fill Tory Holt's shoes. HOPING.
I wouldn't have to have such aburd wishes anymore if we can find a way to get WR Justin Blackmon from Oklahoma State next draft. I want Blackmon so bad...

With the way the offensive line has played lately and if they can continue to improve further, that true #1 receiver is the only piece we're missing.

What is a true #1 receiver? Without knowing the definition, I'm still willing to guess that teams have been quite successful with good receivers but without a "true #1 receiver".
I was going to start a thread on this. The local media talks like "#1 receiver" is a position. It's not. The Bears need a good receiving corps. With the Martz offense the ball is going to get spread around.

True number 1 receivers are a luxury in Martz' offense. But Justin Blackmon would be a Brandon Marshall type, physically imposing type of receiver. He's a special player. There's always a possibility that he disappears, but this guy can besomething special.

Re: Preseason Game#3: Bears @ Titans 7pm
I watched a replay a few days ago, I thought the first teamers (Roy Williams excepted) and Okoye all looked pretty solid. The Bears were in total control of the game with the starters in, but a missed fg and Roy Williams letting a pass go through his hands to a db stopped them. The offensive line was encouraging.
Also it's patently absurd for Earl Bennett not to be starting. He's the best wide receiver on the team by a wide margin. The other one is inconsequential, since nobody has grabbed it. But Earl needs to start.
