Colts let go of Tommie Harris

So much for the productive preseason for Tommie Harris.

The Colts cut the former Bears defensive tackle on Saturday, a league source tells PFT’s Mike Florio.

Harris appeared to be a nice fit in Indianapolis and made a few plays in the preseason.

But there’s a reason the Bears cut him, and the Colts apparently didn’t think he could be productive any longer.

Just an interesting note that I think will underscore our additions to a D-Line that ranked 2nd against the run INSPITE of having TH in the rotation.

I thought he might fit there if they needed him to just play like 10 to 15 downs but I think he already has had hamstring issues in camp. I think coming out of college, it was well known his shelf life was going to be brief and that looks to be the case - he just turned 28 in late April.
