Although he spent two high picks on O-Linemen (IMHO, Williams can now be considered a bust & the jury is still out on Carmini), It's amazing to me how he actually convinced himself that scrapheap free agents & late round picks at the O-Line positions were the answer. Not to mention the fact that ALL of our receivers (including TE) are mediocre.

because Angelo blamed the previous Qbs for not making those players better . The same problems we have now we had then and he made the trade for Cutler anyway.

The biggest indictment against Angelo is the lack of young talent on this team. Look at young impact players and you won't find a lot of them. Offensively, you've got Forte and Cutler, then maybe Carimi. Chris Williams is probably solid enough to where you're not searching for a replacement. Otherwise, every other player offensively is either old or totally replaceable.

Defensively, it's probably worse, despite people thinking that Angelo can draft defense. The lynchpins of our defense, namely Urlacher, Briggs, Peppers and Tillman, are all 30+. There's no one else on the defense that you could remotely consider a pro bowl caliber player. Once those guys start to fall off, and Peppers may have started due to his rather pedestrian play this year, this defense could be wildly mediocre, or worse.

The Bears definitely need a change. Too bad for them, it starts at the top, and Virginia McCaskey and company are some of the worst owners in professional sports.

^ I agree with you, but I think DJ Moore is a nice impact player. He's always around the ball making plays. But not a pro-bowl talent, although its tough be pro-bowler as a nickel back.
