Carimi must be looking good. But they still need to find more talent up front, because I don't see the left tackle Webb being able to handle the job. What kind of left tackles are free agents? If there aren't any avail, and since that's always a hard position to fill in free agency, the Bears should be drafting one in the first round and signing a wide receiver. Webb would be an acceptable swing tackle backup.

You fix the line first, before you go wide receiver. You want to help Cutler the most, thats how you do it. When Cutler had time to throw, the passing game was adequate. And a word of caution if you still think the Bears priority ought to be receiver.......Carimi is a complete question mark. And I wouldn't worry about the Bears poor record with OTs in the 1st round. There is a new sheriff in town. Besides, the only position the Bears might be worse at drafting in the first other than OT, it would be wide receiver. The Bears haven't been good at drafting anything in the first round anyway. Forget that stuff. Go OT.

Wonder if Frank thought he had a chance to stick around considering Emery was the guy that helped draft him in Atlanta.
Turn down for what?

Carimi could be lighting a box of puppies on fire and Omiyale still wouldn't have been worth keeping around.
