We can't hit Davies and our pitchers can't get him out. So glad we bounced back from Sunday's game.

Same reason he continues to keep pitchers in when they are getting lit up.

Okay, everybody form one line to this side... I've got the tattoo gun ready... if we lose one of the next two games, I'm gonna' have to tattoo, "Braves' Bitch", on everyone's forehead... :(

I never thought I'd say it but the guy is an automatic out. This should be the order for tonight:

1. Reyes
2. Chavez
3. Beltran
4. Wright
5. Green
6. Delgado
7. LoDuca
8. Easley
9. Perez

Batting two lefties back to back at 5 and 6 is a risk but the guy can't hit a basketball right now :nonono:

Delgado should be batting 7th. He's probably not recovered from offseason wrist surgery or whatever he had. If your hands and wrists aren't at full strength, hitting is just that much harder. He's got too be injured.

....and big right-handed bats are hard to come by. So does Willie put gomez there for about 2 weeks to see what he can do?

I don't understand why everyone freaks out and gets ready to slash their wrists after a loss. We're still a good team with a great record. For some reason when we play the Braves, we lay down and take it. That's it. I expect everything to fall into place in our side and we will win the division at the end of the year. Hell, even if the Braves do give us a run for our money, we're 100% taking the wild card. So just chill guys.

NLCS=Mets vs. Braves. We better start demonstrating that we can handle these clowns wherever/whenever...

I would put Gomez in there over Green because his defense is better and he has speed. When Alou comes back, let Endy go back to being the 4th outfielder. He can replace Alou in the 7th inning for defense. But I'm not really concerned about the outfield. My concern is with Delgado and also Easley's defense at 2nd.

I fear Delgado is done. Internet rumor (I think mlbrumors.com) has it that the Twins may make Luis Castillo available. The author speculated that the Twins might want back L. Millz. Would you do that? Personally, I'd want much more for Milledge.

I love Castillo's defense but, not sure if I would do that deal.

I just heard Mike and the Dog mention Omar has interest in Brian Roberts. I also checked to see if Easley has ever played first base. He has. In 2004 he played first base for the Marlins 18 times, then last season in Arizona he played there 3 times. So he has some experience there which is good, we can get a 2nd baseman and platoon Delgado at first with Easley. Also Easley bolsters the bench which gets weakened when he's in the lineup.

HELL NO

Castillo has lost all of his speed and is a slap singles hitter these days. We need a bopper to replace Delgado's missing production.
