This thread is Open for official signings in round 2 of the Superbowl game. Once you put a player down in this thread, he will be considered signed. No edits will be allowed (forced edits may occur if salaries or cap figures are wrong).
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN ALL YOUR PLAYERS AT ONCE.
Because some players in the NFL may be cut well after the start of free agency, you will be allowed to hold back money to pick up cap casualties. WITH ONE CATCH....If a player you want resigns with his ORIGINAL TEAM in the NFL either before 3/13/12 or BEFORE you sign him in this thread (with a 2 day grace period), he will be considered off the table. Example: Say Emperorjones is all excited to sign Mario Williams, but he wants to wait a week and see if a certain LB is cut first. If Super Mario resigns with the Texans (original team only) before the Emperor signs him, then it's a sad day for EJ. If Mario were to sign with someone other than the Texans, then EJ can take his time to sign.
This round ends for each GM when they declare they are done signing players.
If a GM has previously posted their round 2 selection and misses this subtle change, their original post/intentions will be honored and count toward the game even if one of their free agents resigns with his original team. However, in such case, the entire post will stand and edits for NFL cap casualties later on will not be allowed.
Please don't post questions or comments in this thread. Just signings. Post questions and comments in the existing Round 2 Thread.

My Official Signings...
DE - Mario Williams $10.6m
We were told that Lovie’s defense was triggered with pressure from the DE position, so my predecessor added Julius Peppers. So now I’m being told that’s not enough. Well, I won’t pass up an opportunity to add a threat like Williams. Peppers, Melton, Paea, Williams and Okoye will get me 32 sacks from my D-Line. Williams is young too, so as Peppers ages, I’ve insured the pass rush won’t falter.
Scouting Report: Williams is an elite athlete with excellent length, speed and long arms that allow him to control and defeat blockers. He has been equally effective as a pass rusher and defending the run as a 4-3 defensive end. He will be asked to be a bit more of a run stopper in Houston's new 3-4 scheme. He keeps his pad level down to leverage blocks and squeeze the play down and is quick to locate the ball and takes good angles. He has come a long way in reading blocking schemes and fighting through pressure.
WR-Laurent Robinson $4.7m
I am out to replace Jonny Knox{s speed because I do not think he will be there at the start of the season. Robinson has more height (6 foot 2 inches) and ran a 4.38 at the combine. He comes at a reasonable price ($4.7m) and is 27 but without a lot of wear and tear.
QB-Chris Redman $1,000,000
We don’t need starter quality to back up Cutler. We need capable backup game manager. If we had even that, we’d be taking the Giants place right now. Bringing in Orton feels good, but its overkill and money that’s better spent elsewhere.
Scouting Report: Redman is a quality backup quarterback that understands the game and is a quick learner. He knows how to read coverages and go through his progressions and can be an accurate thrower when given time. He has shown the ability to step in and start the occasional game when Matt Ryan was injured and while he can manage a team he is not going to carry the team over the long haul. He has enough of an arm to make the short to intermediate outs and hit small windows at pretty much every level. He lacks the powerful arm needed to attack secondaries deep, especially by the boundaries.
Cap Space $20.51m
FA Costs Thus Far: $16.3m
Remaining Cap Space: $4.21m
