That's actually not surprising. It raises a big question of whether or not he's motivated to be a great player. If you're drafting a player, especially in the first round, they need to have a drive to be great. Plus he played in a high-powered offense, with a great quarterback, in a conference know for having bad defense.

Top OL prospects.

Many NFL analysts are predicting that at least six offensive linemen will be selected in the first round of the April 26-28 draft, with USC tackle Matt Kalil projected to go as high as third to the Vikings.

According to Pro Football Weekly, Baylor WR Kendall Wright is "parked in the third round" on a number of teams' draft boards after an unimpressive offseason.
There were rumors of an offseason weight gain for Wright, and his forty time at the Combine was slower than anticipated. "Randall Cobb was a lot better," one NFL evaluator said. "Wright is nowhere near as good with the ball in his hands and (Cobb) lasted 'til the back of the second (round). People are getting snookered (by Wright)." Wright managed only four bench-press reps, and Pro Football Weekly reports his body fat was 16 percent. Per PFW, it's "one of the highest percentages for a receiver in the past decade."

getting help on the D line in the 1st and then Wright in the second is a wet dream

I second that. Wright or Reuben Randle in the second would both be steals. I prefer Randle.

BTW Mike Adams tested positive for marijuana at the Combine according to NFLNetwork last night.

That could mean he will drop to the second round.

How likely do you think Perry could drop to the 2nd round with Chandler Jones moving up into the mid 1st on a lot of peoples boards.
