Defense Review
1. In my opinion the main reason the Giants won the Super Bowl was because of their d-line rotation, so my main goal was to get the deepest d-line which I think accomplished.
2. My second goal was to fill in the LB position. I added a starting vet in Rocky McIntosh along with drafting two young LBs in Manning and Lewis to develop.
3. Third I wanted to add a legit starter and add depth to the secondary. Adding Terrel Thomas gives me one of the best corner tandems in the NFL. If he doesn't go to jail, adding Dennard wll give me one of the deepest CB corps in the league. Adding Landry easily makes the Bears secondary the best tackling secondary in the NFL.

Offense Review
1. My main offensive goal was getting as many weapons for Jay. Trading for B. Marshall was the easiest move I made this off season (not to mention he's my favorite WR). Signing Boss gives Jay a great security blanket. Drafting Randel gives us a legit second WR and lets Bennett move to the slot where he performs the best.
2. The running back position is stacked. Signed one of the most reliable RB in the NFL (BJGE) as a back up to Forte. Drafting Polk was pretty much a luxury. Now if Forte gets hurt or holds out I still have a pretty good one two punch.
3. I added depth to the O-Line. Although both rookies I think Massie and Sanders can be considered upgrades using some of Tice's magic.

Off-season Highlights
1. Drafting four quality players in the 7th round.
2. Adding the two things that killed us in 2011 quality backups in Green-Ellis and Kick Cousins
3. Stealing Brandon Marshall from the Dolphins for two 3rd round picks.
4. I think Signing Terrel Thomas was my best move. In my opinion Thomas would have been the highest paid CB if it wasn't for his knee injury, and obviously I think he will have a full recovery and play at a high level once again.

All the off-season moves put both my offense and defense in the top five along with a top three special teams. Top 5 offense + Top 5 defense + Top 3 special teams= Super Bowl

No Mario Williams, but Melvin Ingram was the second best DE available in the off-season and he adds youth to the position. Deepest DL. Deep team all the way around. Upgrades all across the board to the starters.

This was the best draft IMO by far. Initially I didn't like the pre-draft trading and would have been really pissed as a fan - but wow did our GM come up in the draft or what?? Covered every need going in and pulled out 4 starters. Mel Kiper and Peter King would be singing our praises for weeks after and we definitely would have been crowned the draft's big winner.

As far as free agency, I like the addition of Anderson (but only because you drafted Ingram and Anderson stays in his role of a specialist on passing downs). Good selection of a RB to compliment Forte. Landry is a no brainer. Don't like McIntosh as a starting LB, but that's all I don't like.

Very very strong off-season.
