I just hate how fickle football fans/media are. One week, *insert team here* is on top of the world...They can't be stopped and the sky is the limit. Then they have a bad game (1 out of 2) and all of a sudden the sky is falling...replace everyone/there is no hope.

That's the worst part about football and that's why NOT following football is enjoyable. If you follow football, then you're going to follow the opinions of people as well. And I must say, the opinions when it comes to this Bears team is terrible. No one knows a damn thing. That's why they're changing their tune week to week. It'd be REALLY commendable if someone could just step up and say "I don't know".

I agree 95%
It really pissed me off hearing everyone going off on Cutler. I even saw a tweet questioning if he should be the starter from Jamie Dukes. Its like everyone forgot what he was doing for us after the bye week last season, it was the Peyton Manning affect.
I do feel we need to replace the left side. All summer people, here and professionals, had to add "if the line holds up" to all their Bears predictions. This line has been a top 5 worst line for the past three years. Its time for a change on the line.

Another thing, this is the first time Cutler has exploded on the oline after 3 years of him getting an ass beating over and over again. People going full force at Cutler for that sure have a bad memory of the past 3 years.

Again, he should have never shoved Webb, but people are saying how he shouldn't even be yelling at them.

2010:
Vs Giants-7 sacks in first half concussion
Vs Packers in NFC title game- one of the worst o-line preferences I've ever seen with a knee injury plus all the flack he got for it.
2011-
50 something sacks (I think)
2012:
Bad against colts
Dominated by packers

Cutler has every right to say what ever he wants especially after how great he played last year. And if he wants Webb to feel what its like to get hit I'm not going to get mad at Jay.

Could Jay have handled it better? Yes.

But I don't agree with how Jay is getting skewered over calling out a teammate. The Bears have given Webb a ton of opportunities, and he's mostly failed them. Cutler is just the type of guy that is going to light you up after a while. He did the same thing to his wide receivers the last few years and to his offensive coordinator last year. After a while, he gets fed up and he publicly calls you onto the carpet.

Webb's reaction is all you need to see to tell you what this guy is about. His head is in the clouds. The Bears coaches see all this potential and were unwilling to accept the fact that this kid just couldn't cut it on a consistent basis. Cutler wants him gone. He's sick of having to peel himself off the ground every couple plays because his left tackle doesn't cut it.

It's the nature of such a short season, football is easily my favorite sport to watch because of the small margin of error it has from good teams and bad ones.

That said, Lambeau is a place where Cutler is eventually going to have to win at. I won't be stunned if he plays well in the rematch at Soldier Field but so far two things have been constant, he hasn't started well in either game and he has been hit a bit in both games. I'm not sure those things are going to change much IMO. But I agree...overreaction is part of the media hype.
