I'm scared of Webb vs any NFL DE/OLB so it doesn't really matter.

Back to the Hester play - I'm going to guess it was something that the Bears had down fairly solid in practice with Hester in order to call it there. It Hester's defense he juked the guy very well to get THAT open - I'm not sure Jeffery could have done that part. Of course he blew the part that mattered - the actual catch - so, yeah, what does it matter if you can get that open if you can't come down with it?

Cutler's insistence on threading the needle and forcing the ball in coverage to the guy he wants to throw it to (vs the actual open guy) is going to be where we live or die this year. He's got skills a-plenty but we've seen this from day 1. Jay needs to look to other options when his guy (usually Marshall) is double and triple-covered.

On the defensive side, I couldn't be happier with the defensive line rotation. Even Idonije looked like a real DE vs the Rams and Paea showed up like he never has before. My man Cheta may never see the field at this rate! And what the heck got into Jennings?!? Talk about going from the doghouse to the penthouse! Whatever he did in the offseason needs to be bottled and served up to the rest of the secondary. He was the reincarnation of Vestee Jackson prior to this season. Crazy.

Not possible to look at too many progressions when this is the reality of your job:

They're just going to have to give him help and mix in "shorter" plays more. I think... I HOPE they learned their lesson from Clay Mathews.
