Good game guys.

I think you guys are a terrific team, very tough to play against. They definitely made the Texans earn it tonight.
I really thought going into this game that both teams would be evenly matched, and really for most of the game (even with the bad offenses), it was pretty even. Weather obviously played a big factor in this game for both teams, but I'd sure love a rematch in the Crescent city, I think these two teams match up really good.

Give Mr fleet his props. :P Unfortunately....

This offense isn't winning a conference title this year let alone a Super Bowl. Stating the obvious for the umpteenth week in a row. Alshon Jeffery will make things a little easier, most likely not enough. I have a feeling the Bears just lost the division last night. A 1 game lead over the Pack aint makin' it. I see the Packers beating the Bears in Chicago and also having an equal or better record the rest of the way. I'm definately in a bad frame of mind, but I don't think I'll be wrong about this. The Packers are only getting better. Thats the sign of a division winner. The Bears...The defense can't play any better and the offense is only getting worse. I believe in Phil Emery. He'll improve the offense. Next year.

I'm not going to lie...I was very angry last night when we lost.

However, it's hard to be discouraged today. Jay's injury, Gould's missed FG, the two fumbles, some questionable calls, ect. and we're still right in the game.

The o-line played solid, and I really hope that Cutler is okay.

If the playoffs started today, the Colts would be the 5th seed.

Yeah whatever. It was nothing like a desert, didn't you watch the game pouring down rain.

And a little cold to be called a hellscape don't you think?

Way off man, way off.

1. The Cubs will never win the world series

and right behind it:

2. The Bears will never have a top offense

It just doesn't matter who they bring in. No matter what, the Bears offense simply will not be good. It's a universal constant, and I'm at the point where I'm now coming to accept it. You just have to hope the Bears' defense is so good it wins the games more or less by itself. At least over the long term. The occasional game, the offense might have a good day. But it'll never just be flat-out good. It's not allowed.

I always think of Muhsin Muhammad saying that Chicago is where receivers go to die. We have the quarterback, we have the receiver, we have the running back. I get tired of looking in the box scores and seeing mediocre quarterbacks for other teams go 22-28 with 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. It sucks.

I think this game didnt catch anyone by surprise.

Ok, we were 7-1 but it was a "fake" record.

We all know that the offense weren't clicking and when the defense came back to reality they couldnt win by their own.

I sign that the defense play like they did last night, but we need a lot to improve the offense.

And i think we got the potential. We have a good QB, a top WR and a top-3 RB core. The only thing that we miss is a very good TE (OLSEN!!)

And coaches have to start realizing that Hester is not a solid WR. He can run a vertical but doesnt aks to make a catch in traffic o something like that.

Well, we lost McClellin and Cutler last night. Hopefully they can return soon (maybe next week?). If they aren't back by next week, I doubt we beat the 49ers. Their defense is too good to rely on Forte to carry the team, because we all know Campbell won't be as effective as Cutler in the passing game. At least Jeffery is going to be back.

On to the next one, I guess,

Alex Smith left with a concussion yesterday, as well. He's in the same boat as Cutler. We would be starting Jason Campbell, while they would be starting Colin Kaepernick.

I think that we win the game.

I don't see why everybody is upset with Tice. He called a good game, Hester adn Davis just couldn't catch any passes.

Kellen Davis is terrible. Hester is a terrible WR. I fully expect him to be cut after this season.

That call on Cutler supposedly being beyond the line of scrimmage was missed. The rule says that if any part of your body is behind the line of scrimmage then it is a legal throw. I believe the ref was thinking if any part of yourr body is beyond the line of scrimmage then it is illegal.

That call was huge. We would have had the ball first and goal. If we scored a TD then we would have gone into halftime with a lead

Also, I don't see how this game showed the Bears are better. The Bears offense turns the ball over at a high rate. If they play good defenses they are bound to turn it over even more.

You can't expect the Bears D to force 4 turnovers a game, especially against elite teams.

I think this game was a wash though. Like I said the ref missed the call that Cutler got injured on. We would have had the ball at 1st and goal with an opportunity to take the lead going into half time. The field was complete crap, so neither offense could move at all. It's a wash. Not possible to say which team is better. But the Texans definitely showed they can play in bad whether against an elite team.

I really liked Greg Olsen, he was always being thrown difficult passes in difficult situations and he did alright. On our current team I think he would have had better results.

I really wanted to see Kellen Davis succeed but it just ain't happening. He might be the worst #1 tight end in football.

Update....

Colin Kaepernick will start for the San Francisco 49ers on Monday against the Chicago Bears if Alex Smith is not cleared from his concussion injury.

The 49ers are high on Kaepernick and would like to evaluate his ability in a full regular season game, though they would prefer to start Smith.

“Colin has some unique skills," Jim Harbaugh said Monday. “He’s able to extend the play with his running ability, make yards with his feet, and he has a very strong throwing arm. Both those things showed up in the ballgame (Sunday).

“It was a positive, the way Colin handled himself. He was confident. He was not scared.”
