Te'o is definitely a top defensive player this year, but I can't imagine the Chiefs or Jaguars (The teams who seem the most likely to end up with the number 1 pick) selecting a MLB with that pick. Of course, we will need to trade up, and I do think it's something we should do, but I really don't see Te'o going #1.

I agree that the Chiefs or Jags will most likely not take him but I wouldn't be surprised if a team traded up/

Next year new coach, bunch of new players, and another new offensive coordinator for Cutler, which probably means Cutler wouldn't want to sign an extension after next season. New qb in 2014. sigh......

We can't lose to the Cardinals. They're without a doubt the worst team in the NFL. They just lost 58-0 to the Seahawks. They've got nothing on offense besides Fitz, but without a QB to throw to him. Their D might be the worst in the NFL too after starting strong on their 4-0 start.

The Bears play well against terrible teams.

But we do need to win against the Packers or Lions.

I'm still hoping for the playoffs, anything can happen then. Despite recent heartbreaks, I'm a fan, and I enjoy watching the Bears play.

Obliviously our next game against the Packers is huge. I don't expect to win this game but it's going to be close. Cutler is much better against the Packers at home than on the road. Matthews might not play again and he's the reason we lost the first game.

Cards have no chance. One of the worse o-lines in the NFL (between the Bears, Cards, and Eagles). They have no offense. Their defense might show up against this o-line. It's going to be a blowout.

The Lions game is going to be another tough game. It's going to be way closer than the first meeting. The Lions have found themselves a nice RB and Megatron seems to be healthy now. I still think we win this game but it will be hard.

I really don't understand why so many of you want all the coaches fired. Tice should be the only coach fired or demoted. Lovie is a great coach. I know he needs to change his end of game defense but we dominate on defense because of his scheme. Who will we find to replace Lovie. Cower and Gruden won't leave the booth. Reid will most likely go to the Chargers and I don't think he's a good fit for this team anyway. Sean Peyton is either going to stay in NO or go to Dallas. We just need to replace Tice with Jason Garret or Norv Turner. Blaming the D makes zero sense because half of the D is on the bench because of injuries.

We lost a close game to the Texans with Cutler out in the second half. I know he played bad in the game but he's the best 4th qt QB this year.

We lost to the 49ers without Cutler playing one snap. And I'm pretty sure the Bears game planned against Smith instead of the Rookie because he was expected to play until that mourning and that's a huge deal because they're two completely QBs.

We lose to the Seahawks in OT with Jennings out and Urlacher leaving in the end. You guys set yourselves up for disappointment for expecting the Bears to blow them out when the Hawks is a very great team with an elite defense.

The lose to the Vikings is inexcusable. We shot ourselves in the foot with drops. But still, out side the oping drive the defense played elite and shutdown AP after the middle of the 1st qt with two of our best players out.

I fully expect the Bears to go 10-6. If we do go 9-7 and back into the playoffs it might be the best thing because then we're guaranteed to win the Superbowl .

Does anyone know how bad Jennings' injury is and when he'll be back?

I think this just might be my longest post ever lo

I really hate to be 'that guy' that hasn't posted in the Bears forum all season that comes storming in and says at the tail-end of the season that the Bears were never that good, and they just beat up teams they should have and the one decent team they had played when they were 7-1 had beat them. But this team was never that good, and can't be until we get a legit offensive-line.

silver lining: Lovie gets fired and the Bears decide to bring in people who know how to coach (and roster) offense.

yeah, I don't believe the latter could ever happen, so.... green it is. No faith in the McCaskeys. Zip, zilch nada.
