I would think it's a fair bit higher, given that Fitz has less "baggage" accompanying him.

All the game grabbing Marshall. **** the consistency of the refs. For less they called 3 OPI on Alshon past week.

If Ken Whinsenhunt gets fired and doesn't get hired as a HC somewhere else (which I highly doubt) I would definitely want him as an oc.

With the cap weight of Fitz contract Id say a 1st and maybe a 3rd or some other conditional pick . His contract is loaded .

His contract is loaded because he's a top 5 receiver

The Bears will not look outside for a new OC. It will be Jeremy Bates.

Oh most definitely but hes in the 2nd year of a 120 million dollars contract . We are talking at least 13 million a year for the enxt 4-5 years . Do we even have the ability to absorb that sort of contract ?

And that worked well with Tice. What you're saying is likely, but I still think its dumb

Given that Fitz is the one offensive player that's halfway decent on the Cardinals, I doubt they'd trade him anyway. Plus, his contract is too big and I think he's not worth his contract because in 5 years, will he still be worth the 13 mil?

I know that's probably what's going to happen and I'm completely fine with that if he was calling the plays while him, Cutler, Marshall where in Denver, but if not I think it's for the Bears to go outside their own staff and hire someone who has proven success as a play caller along with a refurbished o-line.

I'm pretty sure he'll be traded this off-season. If he doesn't demand one there's something wrong with him. I wouldn't be surprised if he got traded to the Pats or the Cowboys even though they are stacked at the WR position.

I'd like to have him, but his contract concerns me. I think it may be more fiscally smart of us to get a speedy WR like Tavin Austin in the draft and look for a supplemental receiver to Marshall other than Fitz this off-season.

Oh wow. I had no idea.

I wasn't making fun of your post, Jake.

I was jokingly pointing out how all three of the responses came in at exactly 6:21 pm  .
