The factor that will make us win or lose is our offense. Simply as that. They are the X Factor.

I trust that our defense will make his job. With more or less offensive production but they are going to be an A.

Tillman plays Johnson better than anyone in the NFL. The game against the Lions will be the first game the bears 'will be healthy on defense in a while assuming Conte's hamstring injury isn't that serious.

Osi Umenyiora says there is a high probability that him and the Giants split after this season. Maybe a Peppers & Umenyiora DE combo?

Not bad but I like Wooton a lot. I think they will have to give him more snaps

Bears wide receivers other than Marshall combine for only two catches.

I don't think it's a matter of them showing up, it's a matter of Jay looking for them. Obviously, Marshall is his first read on every play, and even if Marshall isn't open, he does try to force it, without looking at the other WRs. Jeffrey has made some big catches the last 2 games, although quite a few were waived off due to offensive pass interference. Bennett has been hurt, and I don't blame Jay for not throwing it to Hester, he's been bad all season.

Hester surely has regressed. The potential for this unit is good but they are coached by a guy whos claim to fame is coaching Roy Williams in college. Woot woot.

What was first? The egg or the hen ?

I mean. Cutler doesnt take looks at them because they are bad, or they look bad because Cutler doesnt get looks at them ?

I thinks it is 70%-30%. Cutler doesnt take looks because they dont work on our system.

They dont work on our system because they need a world of time to take wide open and Cutler doesnt have this time. He usually has to get rid of the football quickly.

Marshall is his lifeguard. He knows that if he is in trouble Marshall will have a % of completions higher than the rest. Cutler doesnt have this kind of trust on the others because they let the team down a lot of teams on those kind of situations.

I completely disagree. They're all average WRs, other than Marshall, and because Cutler likes throwing to Marshall so much, that's his default receiver. You can't honestly tell me that he doesn't throw to Jeffrey, Hester, and Bennett because they never get open, it's because Cutler has become waaaay too comfortable throwing to him.

The 3 OPI from two weeks ago were because Alshon could not get distance with the DB.

Hester can only run verticals. Thats the only route that he can run.

And Bennett is not healthy but he can be more than an average WR plus his chemistry with Jay.
