Regarding this hire, I'm very disappointed to lose Toub. Our coverage teams have been outstanding during his tenure & we rarely allowed any long KR/PR, not to mention rarely allowing any TDs.

Good. I had wondered if he was secretly a ST candidate for once his contract was up. With the Asst HC title looks like the Cowboys agreed to let him out now. Probably we agreed not to poach any other ST assistants.

Does anybody know anything about Decamillis and how the Cowboys special teams played under him. I don't think of them having a particularly good special teams unit.

Gosselin rankings for Dal ST's the last 4 years:

2012: 15th
2011: 20th
2010: 21st
2009: 4th

The issue with Dallas special teams is that Jerry has strict restrictions on which players can and can not play on the ST units. Joe D was literally scraping up leftovers every year to put on his units.

He has attempted to leave the last couple of seasons but the Cowboys were denying him opportunities to interview elsewhere.

So Im assuming thats their player ratings board. If only we could see the faces of the bottom players. I want to know if those are offseason tarhets or players that might not be coming back.

Or maybe the ones with names are players they are thnking about re-signing. Yes! I think thats it. Mystery solved.
