Heh, ND would be crushed in the SEC

The downfall of the BCS system. Notre Dame, as much as I like them, had no business being in this game. It should have been Oregon vs. Alabama,

I disagree, they beat enough good teams to warrant consideration. It was a terrible matchup for ND, their biggest strength was made irrelevant by the one thing Alabama does best. The 40 or some day layoff against the best coach in college sports didn't help either.

It had everything to with their season. There is nothing wrong about making cheaters vacate their title.
