Which is why this probably isn't a $10 million per year deal. Continuity and depth at a cheap price. Hard to argue with that too much.

This. He's cheap and serviceable. We'd get about the same if we looked elsewhere in free agency.

Yeah, he's a decent cornerback and given how little cap room we have left we obviously got him cheap. I'm satisfied with it.

Hayden played well in the nickel spot. He was exposed when he was forced to take over for Tillman & Jennings because of injuries.

That's why he's being paid to play the nickel role & I'm completely fine with the signing.

We're getting closer and closer to being able to draft best player available. Such a different feeling from the Angelo era.
