Do we decide to take the chance? I mean..he's running 24 miles per hour..that's got to be useful and plus he's got decent hands. That's fricking fast if he can pull that out on game day in the slot..

We aren't losing out on much as long as it's a 1 year deal & he decides to go cheap. Granted since this video is now going viral, I believe teams may call him up but he's been working with B Marsh & Alshon so maybe..

He'd bring unwanted attention to the Bears.

He decided to be a reality-type Hollywood star, so most teams will politely take a pass on him.

I'd bet an overwhelming percentage of NFL wide receivers could do that. And RBs And CBs and Safeties and a few LBs too.....oh, and Julius Peppers - at 30mph. Beast.

If you're saying it's not possible for a bunch of players to hit 24mph then you are wrong. Sustaining 24mph over 100m is a different story. Reaching a top speed of 24mph+ is definitely doable for many pro athletes.

He would have fallen on his ass if he tried to do that for 9.37 seconds.
Seriously you underestimate the athleticism in the nfl. Hell Johnny Knox and hester could have done that 3 years ago. Hester still might be able to. Ocho is not faster than hester.

Whats the calculation on peek speed in a 4.5 40?

Got the answer.

A 4.41 40 time averages out to 18.8 mph from start to finish. So obviously the peek speed is way up there.

Devin Hester's 4.27 averaged out to 19.1 over the full 40.

As I said, a bunch of guys could jump on a treadmill that was already moving at 24mph for 3 seconds. Anyone that could run a 4.5 or less I bet.

This is like riding your bike down a hill and saying you got your bike to go 35 MPH. It's not impressive and pointless.

Who knows how exact those freaking tredmills are too.

What a weird video. It's like the pool jumper all over again.
