5 of which were waived just the other day. I guess the coaching staff really likes Onobun's talent. Too bad he can't hold on to the ball.

The returnees include linebacker Jerry Franklin, cornerback Demontre Hurst, tight end Fendi Onobun, running back Harvey Unga and defensive end Aston Whiteside. Also signed to the practice squad were quarterback Jerrod Johnson and receiver Ricardo Lockette.

We signed a DE from the Raiders too. My battery is dying so cant post a link.

The Titans cut C Francisco Velasco. That would be a good pickup. So would TE DJ Williams whom the Packers cut.

You can see everyplayer that was cut in the league at the league..

Some of the more interesting names:
C Francisco? Velasco from the Titans. Idk why he was cut. Good player and started for them.

S Jim Leonhard from Saints. Solid backup and good in special teams. Just what we need if he is healthy.

TE DJ Williams from Packers. Athletic with good hands.neds to improve blocking imi.

I think these three guys could replace Boggs, Walters and Adams. Velasco would have a good shot at replacing Garza somewhere down the line.

If there are anymore injuries at CB we could pickup either Ras I Dowling or Chase Minnifield.

For the practice squad I like WR Emory Blake out of Auburn and TE Jake Stoneburner out of Ohio State.

Yeah Bass would be a solid pick-up. Wouldn't Bears have to cut someone else though? I wonder who that would be.

My guess is Cheta Ozugwu. We also have nine OL with Scott, Britton, Brown and Boggs as reserves. My guess is Britton will be cut once Scott shows he is healthy.

Yeah they waived Ozugwu...

The Bears claimed defensive end David Bass, a seventh-round pick who was cut by the Oakland Raiders, and waived defensive end Cheta Ozougwu to make room for him.

I am sorry, but Unga again! Is he married into the front office or something?

Also, I think we need to move Boggs to the practice squad and get another DT. We will probably Peppers at DT in some looks again this year, but only having 4 is a risk.
