Briggs is fine. I think there were a lot of things on tape that caused the coaching staff to not hand the starting job to Bostic just yet. Bostic will need to earn his way, barring an injury. DJ Williams isn't a scrub, he's good and was good for them through OTA's. They didn't have a compelling reason to put Bostic ahead of him, a la what they did with Mills over Webb.

The defensive line may not have put a lot of pressure on the quarterback, but our run defense was very good. We only gave up 63 rushing yards and 3 yards per rushing attempt.

AP had a 78 yard run the first play of the game, but the Vikings only ended up with 105 total rushing yards, which means they only had 17 other rushing yards for the rest of the game.

I'm feeling confident about next week. :D

I feel like we beat a playoff team which is good. Sloppy game all around but I like the the way we stayed calm and got the win.
