Our old friend

Post#1 » by GYBE » Fri Jul 6, 2007 11:42 pm

Of all the unlikely guys to get suspended for a substance, Neifi Perez!?!?!?

His OPS this year is .487

When he was with the Cubs, I loathed him like no other. I hated him more than Trey hates Jacque. The fact that Dusty played him everyday is one of the biggest farces in baseball history. That decision alone made me hate Dusty everytime I saw his elderly face.

Anyways, I can't believe this joke of a player has been caught. Discuss your thoughts on our old friend Neifi.

Neifi was a solid player. I don't care what the stats say. He was solid and came to play everyday.

I don't believe these drug allegations for one second.. Someone planted something on him. Maybe Carlos Guillen fearing playing time? I don't believe it. Neifi wouldn't cheat.

Neifi will come back from his suspension motivated and ready to go. I know it.

Solid player? That's a damn lie.

Jacque Jones has a 30 point advantage in career OBP over him.

As a player with no power, you have to at least get on base to be useful. He does neither, and he can't even steal bases. He's almost been caught as many times as he's got one.

I would rather have Izturis play everyday than have Neifi play one game for my team again.

I was joking I didn't put the green font for a reason. I wanted you think I was serious.

Neifi may be the only active player who is worse than Jones.

Neifi was at SS every day with Dusty. Disgusting.

But he and Derrek Lee both had a high batting averages at the beginning of the year in '05 when Derrek was in the Triple Crown Run.

Alright, he's been suspended for three days for insulting people on the Bulls board. We shall have to try to survive without him.

Ah yes, my understanding is that the Bulls board is one of the most stringent ones around.

The Nuggets board on the other hand... :nonono:

Yeah.. Very weak suspension.

Some how I got 3 previous warnings when I could only account for two of them.

1 mysterious warning for trolling the Knicks board which never happened.. I actually like Knicks fans and post in there OT threads often..

Can mods keep track of warnings? Do they do something to your screen name to leave a mark to keep track. Say you had one 6 months ago. Another 3 months ago, and one today. You would be suspended?

You get PMed saying "You have been warned".

I think it's 3 warnings and the fourth you get hit with the suspension.

Yet, I've only been warned twice prior to the incident the other day.
